IGIC is looking for submissions from Muslim sisters (or brothers, if you have something to share!) all over the world. If you or anyone you know has a story related to hijab you would like to tell, we’d love to hear from you! What we are looking for:
Other stories or articles associated with the hijab are also welcome. We prefer that the content be original and unpublished elsewhere, but we will consider previously published pieces, provided you can guarantee that no copyrights are being violated. As a piece of sisterly advice, remember to observe the beauty of hayaa’ in writing your articles, that modesty which surely the hijab is an expression of.
Also, please note that IGIC withholds the right to reject any submissions that do not align themselves with the general purpose or current needs of the website. We will accept and publish pieces on a case by case basis.
To submit your story, email email@example.com or simply visit the contact page. Please include the name you would like your piece published under (whether full name, first name, pen name or otherwise) when sending your submission. If you would like us to publish a short bio and/or a link to your personal blog alongside your piece, then please include that in your correspondence as well. We look forward to hearing from you!
