Where Do You Stand?

Its called, downward social comparison: comparing oneself to others who are less fortunate. This form of thinking often leads us to think better about our situations and allows us to cope with some of life‘s tough challenges.

Just imagine! Simply by ‘thinking’ that a situation could have been worse, or by mentally comparing ourselves to those less fortunate, we can change our perspectives entirely!

So the next time we are in a not-so-easy situation, lets you and I, remember this pictorial, think about the less fortunate, and realize our problems are petty compared to many.
