my father is blind and doesnt seem to want any help so i never recieve advice from him

SubhanAllah, not everyone has the blesssing of having a parent guide them to the right decisions. (Also, not everyone takes the righteous advice of their parents!) Regardless, that's not an excuse for us to slack off. Keep your father in your 'adiyaa – just think of Prophet Ibraheem, 'alayhis salaam and his relationship with his father, who was a disbeliever. They're your parents and you should still respect them inshaAllah.
Alhamdulillah we also have other places to go for advice – like IGIC :) so never think someone can't help you. Remember, if a person is not there for you 24/7, Allah subhanahu wa ta'la is there! He's just a sujood away, inshaAllah…
