Yes, it's hot….but the Hellfire is even hotter!
This is soooo cute!!!! And I love that it is pink too :D
Really, really, though, if you choose lightweight fabrics, it's not hotter, especially in the sun.
that's a good answer, i love wearing it too.
This will be my first summer experience, but it's to please Allah and May He be pleased and reward all of us for this, AMEEN!!!
Same here sis.. May Allah reward our efforts to please Him and make it easy for us.. amen (: <3
Soo cuteee masha'Allah, love it :) and lol its also proved that the more covered you are the less hotter you are :)
Hot? Wow I've never thought of it until you mentioned it, and that's another way of saying, no, it's not hot! Maybe it will be hot for first-time users but trust me, it's so comfortable to be all covered that you forget the hotness. And our main reason for doing so is to obey Allah. And we could do anything for the one we truly love.
The 7ijab people forget about is the men's 7ijab: the beard. Not cutting off the beard involves maintenance and can be a struggle in the extremities of heat too. I think it's important to realise both men and women have equal responsibilities but different in task but people seem to dump it on the women while the men are too relaxed at times.
As a Hijabi, I often times catch myself replying, ‘No, I’m not hot’ when asked about ‘being hot’. But ofcourse I am –just as EVERYONE else is on hot summer days. So to me personally, I hope-when asked that question again-I will answer with…yes I am hot, just like everyone else is and then perhaps continue on with the reasons as to why I do wear the hijab. (Ofcourse, dressing appropriately for the particular temperature helps ALOT!)
I prefer to stay away from the ‘yes I am hot but Hell is hotter’ phrase, just because I feel it has a negative undertone to it. I think people are more apt –I know I am- to listen to what we have to say when we speak with gentleness and wisdom. Allah sw says in the Quran, “Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious…”
For the sisters who just started to wear the hijab, for those who already do, and for those who are working towards it, may Allah (sw) continue to keep us on the right path, ease it for us, and give us that which is better for us in this life and the hereafter, inshAllah.
My favorite line/answer to this question that is frequently asked! :)
I think covering up actually helps you from the heat. And usually, I am not hot at all and when I do mention that I'm not hot, many people take it to assume that I'm “used to it”. I might be used to wearing the hijab, but it not only protects my modesty, it even prevents me from getting sunburned! Leaving your skin out in the open, hot air makes you HOTTER. It burns your skin. You're COVERING up. To all of you who have been wearing the hijab:Mashallah, KEEP IT UP and may Allah grant you Jannah :)
To all of you who have just started or are planning to start the hijab:Mashallah and Inshallah remember Allah is with you and whoever you are, you'll be some of the best hijabis out there! :)
Love you all =]GO HIJABIS! :) ♥♥
