Jazakallah :) Whenever I get “waswasay” (Shaitan’s whisperings) about purdah, I remind myself that I am emulating noble women like Maryam, Fatima, Ayesha and the rest. Why should I leave the footsteps of women like them to follow those of Britney Spears?

jazakallah huge dear sister, it means alot to me :)

you know its never easy if you are a niqabi, a hijabi etc, but once you realize that you do it for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala than that feeling motivates and drives you and makes you realize that there is a world beyond this dunya, a real world.

I pray that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala gives you all good both in this world and the Hereafter ameen.

If you need anything, we are always here, we are each others mirrors and inshaAllah we will not let each other go astray.

Fatooommm!! it was Mash'Allah a very amazing article. Infact, it is beyond the scope of mere adjectives, i have recently planned to become a full time hijabi which includes even so called special occassions like weddings and all.

And wallahil Azeem, your article inspired me the best way possible because i remember when i decided to go complete hijabi, i had such questions about what my family will think of me because i have been such a sinner in my past. JazakAllah khair for sharing it.

know what, when I read first few lines on FB, a thought jus sparked - Maryam?
started reading, light gone..continued now!

Such questions always pop up into our minds, thing is to tackle them positively, the way you did Masha'Allah! It provides a two-way benefit, being contended on your actions and satisfied that Intention is purely to please Allah subhaanau Ta'laah :)
Otherwise Shaytaan is always there to push us away..

you know what. sins bring us closer to Allah subhnahu wa ta'ala sometimes. He doesnt want us to elevate ourselves to the status of angels, we are human beings and we sin on regular basis, but what should really be kept in mind, is the fact that His Mercy extends His wrath, and that He will forgive us if we ask for forgiveness sincerely <3

i love Islam. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala doesnt look at our faces, our fam, our colour, our past, He looks at our intentions, our deeds, our good actions-public or private. it doesnt matter how you start, what matters is how you end. SubhanAllah. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows best :)

i pray that you get a house near Him in jannah ameen.<3
