waiyaki dear Dania.

yes you are right about all that criticism. When a person has all virtues but one vice people talk about just that vice and forget all his virtues.

that sister in tight jeans, makeup etc may be a better Muslimah than us. Who are we to judge? You are right about enlightening them though....

"His treatment of His servants is quite different from their own treatment of their fellow men. They underestimate the worth of the services rendered by a fellow man and take him to task severely for an omission.Allah in His bounty rewards much more generously than His servant deserves for any service rendered by him in His cause, but is very lenient and forgiving for any omission or neglect of duty shown by His servants"-Maulana Maududi

jazakALlah for ur comment Dano :D

SubhanAllah :') That was very inspiring, and reminded me so much of how I began hijab—pretty similar to you. The fact of being ignorant about hijab is so dangerous, the first years I wore hijab-- I did it totally wrong (and I think most of us tend to go through the same phase). But how was I to know, I knew I just had to wear it. Slowly, as I came to study islam and practice it, I came to appreciate and realize the true inner beauty that Hijab allows me to gain, and that is when I realized I was doing it wrong.

I think, in general, we come to judge people very hastily—without second thought, and that in fact is the trap of shaytan. Saying stuff like; 'Oh look how tight her pants are! Asta'furllah!! Doesn’t she know better!' Well maybe she doesn't? Have you thought of that?

It is our duty, the ones who came to understand the true meaning of hijab, in its full package, it is our duty to enlighten our dear sisters, who may have no clue what it really means… and trust me, when they know, they will be so grateful that someone has told them :)
